ToadEx Inc. ("ToadEx", "we", "us") builds self-service ordering kiosks for restaurants. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website (toadex.ca) and our kiosks, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Website. When you book a demo or contact us, we collect the details you provide: your name, work email, phone number, restaurant name and anything you include in your message.
Kiosks. When you place an order on a ToadEx kiosk, we process the order details (items, customizations, totals) and the name you enter so the restaurant can call your order. Payments are processed by the payment terminal and its payment processor; ToadEx does not store your card number.
Automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited to keep the site working and understand how it is used.
We use personal information to respond to your inquiries, schedule and run demos, operate the kiosk ordering service for our restaurant customers, improve our products, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Order information is shared with the restaurant fulfilling your order. We use trusted service providers (such as form-handling and payment-processing services) that process information on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. We may disclose information if required by law.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect it.
